Mosaid Sues Sony Ericsson, HTC Over E-911 Tech IP
Mosaid Technologies Inc. sued Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc. and HTC America Inc. in Delaware on Thursday over patents that allow cellphones to comply with the Federal Communications Commission’s E-911 standard.
The team of Steve Hill, Blake Frye and Martha Decker, representing Shepherd Management Group of Atlanta, won a jury verdict of over $1 million in a copyright case against Cantoni LP, its operating subsidiaries in California and Georgia, and its CEO Michael Wilkov. The Defendants were represented by Fish and Richardson.
