HKW successfully defended its client Xorbia Technologies in a patent case brought in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia

HKW successfully defended its client Xorbia Technologies in a patent case brought in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia by Scanning Technologies Innovations.  In response to the lawsuit, HKW filed a motion to dismiss for lack of patentable subject matter on Xorbia’s behalf.  Rather than opposing the motion and risking a declaration of patent invalidity, Scanning Technologies Innovations dismissed the suit in full, bringing an early resolution to the case.  Steve Hill and Martha Decker represented Xorbia.
